What choices are you living?
Growing up, a young girl in the south, I was very shy and kept to myself most times. I would always observe the others around me. Their actions and behaviors intrigued and fascinated me. Also during this time, I was influenced by some very strong woman in my life.
I knew anything was gonna be possible and I could do anything I wanted to do with my life.

Enter dating, marriage, kids, divorce, family issues and a few more of life’s surprises.
Then to my “AH-HA” moment.
Everyone of us take into our adulthood the things we’ve seen and learned early on, but to live we must get out into the world and make some choices. Living life is all about the choices YOU make. Start TODAY by choosing to live, laugh and love, as much and as often as possible.
I am choosing to live, laugh and love as much as possible.

Will you harness your motivational power?
“Not many people are willing to give failure a second opportunity. They fail once and it is all over. The bitter pill of failure is often more than most people can handle.
If you are willing to accept failure and learn from it, if you are willing to consider failure as a blessing in disguise and bounce back, you have got the essential of harnessing one of the most powerful success forces.” – Joseph Sugarman
via Where Does Your Motivation Come From?.
Motivation comes in many forms.
When we stop being motivate we will stop moving forward. Along with motivation, perseverence is also needed to continue with our moving forward.
It is hard some times to be motivated and continue when we don’t succeed at first. We must harness our powers of motivation and persevere to succeed and make it TODAY!

Have you heard of ”Generation C”?
Generation Y, Generation X, now Generation C …
Did you know about this new generation?
I recognize that are definately differences with the way our children do things and the way we do things. But I did not know there was a name for these young people. If you are age 18-35 you are considered part of ”Generation C.”

You may wonder why the letter C. The C is for connected. You might have noticed all the people running around these days, talking on cell phones, texting, tweeting, facebooking, sending photos and videos in real time and generally being connected.
The new technology of today is making it easier than ever to get connected and stay connected with everyone everywhere.
What letter are you?

First few steps towards getting healthier…
Okay. Ready. Set. Get Healthy….

Step One:
Joined a great site Lose It to keep track of my diet and exercise(accountability). This site is free and AWESOME!
Joined a great support site called Careverge to keep track of goals, get health related information and community support. This site is also free.
Step Two:
Set two new goals.
- Drink 6 glasses of water.
- Sleep eight hours.
After fighting several years of illness, I have chosen to make healthier decisions starting NOW. These may be little steps to some but they are still steps towards a better healthier ME.
If you would like to join me on a journey to being healthier, check out the sites above and see what you think. Make some goals and let’s do this together.
Be Well,
Adele

Friends are the best gift you can give YOU!
Our friends can bring such JOY to our lives. They are there to share in all our good times and support us in bad times. We tell our friends our deepest thoughts and desires and then encourage each other to succeed and pursue our dreams and goals.

I met my best friend, Ms. B, when I was very young. We went to school and played at each others house after school. We had sleep overs and did lots of other stuff best friends do together.
Ms. B moved away and we lost touch for many years. Then one day I received a card in the mail. It was from her. I was so excited and so happy to find out she moved back and was living in a nearby area. I got in my car and drove immediately to see her. I smiled from ear to ear when I finally saw her.
Nowadays, she is always busy working, going to school and being a mom. She always has a goal or two or three and she works very hard until she accomplishes her goals. And she always accomplishes them. She is amazingly creative and totally gorgeous. She takes charge of whatever is going on around her and tackles it head on, with style and grace.
Even with all her work and activities, somehow she knows just when I need a “Hey, how’s it going?” or a “I miss you girl!” I had no idea just how powerful or how long we would continue to be friends. It’s going on thirty plus years and I can’t wait to see what the future brings. I know her friendship truly is a precious gift that I will treasure always.
I love you Ms. B ~ Thank you for being my BFF!
